Sustainability
Key Facts
- The U.K. currently generates 2% of all global emissions
- Buildings accounts for approximately 40% of energy consumption, in the U.K.
- The U.K. creates 330m tonnes of waste per annum, 75% of which ends up in landfill
To achieve global sustainability by 2050, Europe's emmissions must be cut to 2.5m tonnes per annum from its current 10m tonnes.

How much wastage can we save?
Most recently, we have finished Heathrow Airport's Terminal 5. Our engineering techniques saved on the following raw materials -
- 3,600m of Structural Steelwork
- 10,900m2 of Concrete Slabs
- 30,000m2 of Fixed Scaffolding
This led to a 20% reduction in energy usage, from the original forecast.
